Chris has been adding some great new features to ACK recently, including the ability to use the ’second set’ of graphic tiles for map objects, not just creature animation, and transparency for creatures and items so the terrain will show through the parts of the graphic set to transparent (transparency is not documented in the manual yet, so be sure to check out this thread on its use). Get the newest version of ACK to use these features.
Also in ACK news, new user Garth’s Equipment Shop has made nice ACK-ready versions of some Nethack graphic tiles, and Chris’s Ultima Parody and Biffsnot’s Wasteland-inspired game both have some inticing progress updates to check out.
